Natural hair conditioner.

Now that I have tried the baking soda solution for washing my hair, I'm gonna tried the natural conditioner.

It said from my findings that I can use a few drops of the apple cider vinegar (ACV) to condition my hair. But ACV?? But It smells really "vinegar"! My findings also said that the acids and enzymes in ACV kill dandruff making germs or any bacteria that inhibits your scalp. Oooh, it also helps prevent hair loss leh.

Another natural hair conditioner is lemon Juice. Will need to combine the juice of one lemon with an equal amount of your normal conditioner. Work into the hair and comb through. Rinse thoroughly. Hhmm, i still need the commercial conditioner, so I passed this option plus lemon does't come cheap too @ RM1 each!

Since I have tried washing my hair with baking soda, hopefully ACV can do the trick to save more bucks on hair conditioner. Needless to say hair conditioner sometimes does "spoilt" my hair causing to have more hair lost!

One thing does cross my mind: will the vinegar smell stay on my hair after conditioning and rinsed it???

Let's try and see.

I have add 3 tablespoon of ACV to a 500ml plastic bottle.

My review:
After washing my hair using the baking soda solution yesterdat, I'd rinsed my hair with 1/3 of the ACV solution. Blow dry it and tada!! soft hair!! Still have slight ACV smell and the smells completely gone by today morning. No sign of it!

Now I can say: Bakind soda and ACV is the winner!

Baking Soda Shampoo. Day 4.

Now is Day #4 after my first hair wash attempt with baking soda. My hair only starts to feel oily today. Well now I can wash my hair twice in a week, hehe, compared to thrice in a week. My hair feels softer than those commercial shampoo that I have used. Really clean, and I really mean, Real Clean, less dandruff, and the best thing is less hair loss throughout the last 3 days!!! Now I have standby 1 bottle of 500ml plastic bottle mixed with few tablespoon of baking soda and 500 ml water. Can't wait for the second wash tonight.

Baking Soda with laundry detergent

After the shampooing session, I can't wait for using baking soda for other usage.

Before washing just the load of socks of the week, I have add huge spoonful of baking soda together with the laundry washing powder.

Guess what, after the wash, I don't smell any of the normal "sock" smelly odour I used to get after each socks washes.

Guess that the baking soda helps to remove odour too.

Wash Hair without Shampoo??? Does it work?

Baking Soda

Hhmm. What is baking soda? For as long as i can remember, I thought baking soda is just for baking cakes. Washing hair with baking soda just never ever crosses my mind.

So what is baking soda? Is it the same with baking powder? What Is the Difference Between Baking Soda & Baking Powder?
Answer: Both baking soda and baking powder are leavening agents, which means they are added to baked goods before cooking to produce carbon dioxide and cause them to 'rise'. Baking powder contains baking soda, but the two substances are used under different conditions.

Then does it actually make our hair rise ah when we wash our hair???? My friend can't stop laughing when i question this....

The recipe: Baking Soda Mix:

Before showering, combine one tablespoon baking soda with one cup warm or hot water in a plastic bottle and shake thoroughly. Work into the hair and comb through. Rinse thoroughly.

My review:
The last time that after washing my hair, with my hair feeling clean, really light and volume was at the saloon, and I have to pay them to do so.
Trying this solution really making me have doubts. Again, aren't baking soda suppose to just bake cakes???? ha? ha? ha?

Well no, while rinsing, I can already hear and feel the squeaky sound on my scalp. After blow drying my hair, my hair feels so light and so squeaky clean, just as if I have just walk out from the saloon. Furthermore, dandruff s are GONE!!!! Yuppie. And yet I thought this is gonna be short lived, but when I wake up in the morning, my hair still feels so clean and light and Soft!!

Wow! Real good start from using baking soda. After searching through the net, there are also loads of stuff to clean all sorts of stuff. Will try out some recipes and post later.

Oh by the way, the cost of the mix, less than 10 cents!

(A ArmandHammer brand baking sode cost about RM10.50 at Mercato supermarket for about 900gm.)

Oh ya, now I can say bye bye to Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) permanently!!!

April have just passed away.

Sob.... Sob..... My dog April just passed away....

April was born in April 1995. She is a mixed breed. So "she" (We consider the dog as our family member) was now 13 years old if we calculate in human year. Kinda old for a dog. Dog age = 65 years old. This was based on the following online calculation:
http://www.onlineconversion.com/dogyears.htm

Time flies so fast. She was just few months old when we brought her back. She was so smart. And Cheerful. She even tried to sit like human by the buttocks!

I still remember her whining to us how June June (our another Dalmatian dog) bullied her during the time we went back hometown Ipoh for Chinese new year holiday years back. She kept whining and telling us "stories" for more than an hour.

I still remember me and my mom's usual stroll around of neighbourhood after dinner on how she "tells" us that the neighbour's dog tried to bully her by chasing after her the other day, every time she passes the particular neighbour's house.

I still remember me and my mom's usual stroll around neighbourhood where she will be in front of us, constantly checking our safety by looking back a few times.

I still remember we kept asking each and everyone in the household who "kick" the shoe so far away from the porch? At the end, we found that it is April is the culprit who just really kick the shoes away so that she can sleep at the walkway in front of the porch to guard the front of our door.

I still remember she can cross the road by looking left and right before crossing!! Mind you! April is a dog!

My April's photo, sleeping at the walkway of the porch, who just doesn't like take pictures. These were the last time I took pictures of her.

Get lost. Me wanna sleep.

Stop bugging me. I'm trying to get a nap here.

Just 1 hand shake lar, please....

She just love to get a shoe to become her pillow!

My pillow.... eeerrr...shoe.

Night Night!

A week later, mom said that April was in her dream, probably telling mom that she is happy in where she is now, in heaven, with god.

Mouth Ulcers

Errrggghhh. Mouth ulcers again. not 1 but 3 at the same time!!! This time inside my lower lips. Now look like sexy bulging lips due to the sores. Plus pimples start to popping up again, after enjoying so many months of pimple free face.

Looking back, I have been staying up really late till 5am in the morning. Irregular sleeping pattern and drank less water for the past 2 months really caused my liver to really ring the bell, like “Hello, you got way too much toxin liao leh!”

Although I have been taking milk thistle pills daily, these GNC milk thistle still doesn’t work as great as the “Liver toxic flush” drink. I have not been taking my “Liver toxic flush” drink for the past few months. Looks like I’m gonna take it tonight for some relief.

So I took mix “Liver toxic flush” and drink it. Hopefully the sores will heal sooner. Then out of a sudden, I think why not take some American Ginseng powder to sooth it lil’ bit, since American Ginseng can lower the heatiness in my body. Eih, it works to lessen the pain. Yahoo!!! No pain for the night. yeye.
