Camera face.

YanYan: Huh? What's going on?

YanYan: Oh, Mommy taking pictures of me.

YanYan: better say "cheese".

YanYan: Kekeke.

Every time when I start taking pics of YanYan, she will first check what's going on, then smiling for pictures taken.

One more tip:
Never ever use flash light on your young born and when they are still kid. That's why my pics are always dark. I uses photo editor to change the colour of the photo.

Why? This is crucial to protect their eyes. You wouldn't want your kids to wear specs when they turn 3 or even younger.

Look around you, kids nowadays wear specs!! Thanks to modern technology: TV, camera flash lights and car lights!!

Bake Brinjal with tomatoes

Sometimes I really don't know how to cook brinjal. Indian cooking does comes to mind when it comes to brinjal. That's when Google comes in handy. However, I have amend the cooking steps.

Ingredients:
1 binjal
several big tomatoes or a few handfuls of cherry tomatoes
garlic minced or chopped
salt
pepper
olive oil

Steps:
Preheat Over at 200C.
1. Remove the brinjal skin and cut into 0.5cm squares. It cooks faster if the brinjal is skinless.
2. Sliced the tomatoes.
3. Grease the baking tin bottom with olive oil.
4. Put 1 layer of brinjal at the bottom, then the tomatoes.
5. sprinkle with a handful of garlic, a pinch of salt and pepper and a dash of olive oil over the brinjal and tomatoes.
6. Repeat till all brinjals and tomatoes are used up.
7. Put into oven for 25-35 minutes or until all brinjals are tender.

Tadaa. The brinjals are soaked with yummy sweet tomatoes and fragrance too.

Michelin Baby.

For the past few weeks, my mom keeps saying that YanYan's hands and legs looks like a rubber hose.

I kept saying to my hubby that YanYan's hand looks like transformer's.

Then last week my hubby's sis said that she looks like a Michelin cartoon! It click my mind almost instantly!

See the resemblance?? :)

Lots of hair since birth.

YanYan has lots of hair when she was born.

In contrary with chinese belief that all babies must been shave bald on their full month celebration, a ritual will also be perform, blah blah blah, so that they will have more hair and thicker when they grow older. I skip this ritual (I'm a modern mom and I'm not superstitous) coz I don't believe in this and yet, YanYan's hair has grown longer and soft and silky, like mine.
