Pregnancy Stretch Marks and shea butter.

According to every pregnant woman that I have encounter for the past few years, every one will have to go through this stage: have stretch marks! It is just a matter of whether the stretch mark is hugely visible or not visible at all from afar.

Some even told me that the commercial products they have purchased from grocery stores does not even work, not to say the name lar, a cocoa butter cream or lotion.

So me doesn’t want to add to my “collection” of stretch marks I have now, on my buttocks due to years of having yo-yo weight gain and loss weight of 5 kg. The 5kg seems small, but it is visible since university, more than 10 years ago. I have used body lotion throughout the years and the stretch marks did subside but tell you, it is STILL THERE. Urrgghhh.

So I gave myself a mission when I was in my 4th month pregnancy, to search for a organic cream that can prevent stretch marks.

I came across many pregies that any commercial product that contains shea butter helps. Then I figure, why not just purchase shea butter instead.

After searching high and low for it, I have finally found a store near me that sells pure and unrefined organic shea butter.

Wah, what a discovery. I just love the process (and still loves it) of rubbing shea butter in my palms to melt it before massaging it oily substance to my bulging belly, breast and all over my skin. It is never feel sticky at all. According to the seller, I can add the same amount of virgin olive oil or any kind of cold-pressed oils while rubbing the shea butter in my palms. (That would be 1:1 ratio of shea butter to oil. For every tablespoon of mixture, if you prefer, you may add 1-2 drops of mandarin/nerolieo to it, not more.)

So now in my 6th month, there is still no sign of it. Hope that it will Never emerge at All.

Pray hard!!!

This is how the shea butter looks like.
